This restaurant is probably one of the most authentic Korean restaurants that I have ever eaten at. We went here on a weekend for an early dinner. By the time we had finished dinner, there was a big line up. First of, the place itself is small, can probably fit maximum 50, hence the line up outside. We ordered bulgogi and kalbi sizzling plate, don katsu, Tteokbokki and gamjatang.
Bulgogi sizzling plate: was very tasty and well seasoned, you could literally hear the plate sizzle while they put it on our table.
Kalbi sizzling plate: was also good, perfectly cooked, good size pieces.
Don Katsu: pretty decent katsu, well breaded, good crunch in every bite
Tteokbokki: i have tried to make this dish at home, and this one i had was so much better. The rice noodles were cooked perfect, sauce was tasty and enough heat to make me sweat.
Gamjatang: hands down the best dish we had. Flavours were on point. Every sip of that broth just gave you that home feel you get eating gamjatang. It is such a simple dish, but its the effort you need to put in to make it delicious.
Overall the experience was amazing, would come again to try out the rest of menu. The best thing about this place is the portion sizes. They are big enough to share and then some. -

This is our go-to korean place in Markham. Its a very home-y restaurant. Their appetizers are always made fresh and they serve purple rice.. what a bonus!!!
They have really big portions. We go for their tabletop combos for 2 if we are feeling daring(hungry).. it can fill 3 adults fully.
If I don't feel like getting something soupy, I usually get their spicy pork rice. I just got this again and realized how much meat they give you. It's like 2 meals worth for me!
All in all, I know I'd always end up here if I feel like having korean food in the area. -

Definitely a very wholesome restaurant with authentic Korean food.
I came in here craving pork bone soup and I got THE MOST awesoommeeeeee pork bone soup in the world. I'm not a very picky person and I usually think a lot of things taste good, however, the meat in this pork bone soup is 10/10. It was so good that I had to ask one of the servers what makes the meat so tender.
Basically... they leave the pork overnight, and when they serve it the next day it's the softest pork you will ever have in your entire life!!!
I can honestly go on about the pork bone soup because it was one of the best soups I had in Toronto., but the SIDE DISHES WOOOOOOOoooo.
go ahead and ask for more
The service is also amazing. One of the guys with a tattoo on his right arm was very nice and kind. When we would ask him something he had suggestions even though he was tired. Very great hospitality.
The area was also very clean. There was no sign of dirtiness around the restaurant and the bowls and cups looked fairly new.
Overall, I do rate this restaurant 5/5 and I do wish to come back again. Thanks :) -

Authentic Korean food that lets you order either soups, rice dishes, noodles or Korean tabletop bbq.
I absolutely adore this place. They have really good ginseng chicken soup, served with a side of salt so you can season to taste.
Their pork bone soup is always flavourful and the meat falls off the bones.
The seafood pancake is full of squid, comes with a tangy dipping sauce to cut through the carbs.
If you order the bbq meals that comes with a large shareable soup, you can pretty much feed 6 people comfortably.
The banchan here is fresh and very very good. They're always so kind in serving us and making sure we got what we needed.
This is my go to Korean place in the area. If only the parking was better. -

This is located in the Richlane Plaza, closer to the second entrance. Restaurant is clean and bright from all the lighting. Portions was generous, flavours are good. I ordered their Donkatsu, pork was light and crispy. I also ordered their pork bone soup, although they don't include the potato in it, it was still delicious. There was a lot of meat. It came very hot, soup was flavourful. They offer purple rice, which tasted chewy and cooked just right. They offer a lot of side dishes with free refills. In their menu, there are combos as well for parties of 2+ for soups and grilling. Staff are helpful and friendly. Candy is offered when bill is requested. Great Korean food option in the Richmondhill area.
